Communication

Communication from the school will take a variety of forms, such as:
  • phone calls
  • newsletters
  • email
  • meetings
  • report cards
If you have not yet done so, please make sure you have signed-up to receive notifications from the school

Parent Procedures for Concerns:
Parents are encouraged to contact the classroom teacher first when they have questions regarding their child's programming and/or behaviour. Teachers and/or parents may then choose to involve the administrator depending on the nature of the concern.

Communication Flow:
    • Classroom Teacher
    • Principal
    • Superintendent
    • School Board

A note on student use of school phones:
We are seeing an increase in traffic in the office during the lunch hour and after school. Students are requesting to call home to ask permission to leave for lunch or make alternative after school plans. Families are asked to make arrangements prior to the school day and to alert the classroom teacher so they are aware of the plan. The office is very busy at most times and we are not able to handle the amount of requests that happen in these time periods. Students are able to access their classroom phone, with teacher permission, to call home in cases of illness or emergency.
