About Us

MacKenzie Middle School, located at 212 First Street NE in Dauphin, Manitoba, is a vibrant Grade 6–8 learning community within the Mountain View School Division. We are proud to offer diverse academic, cultural, and experiential learning opportunities designed to support the growth of the whole child.

MMS provides programming in both English and French Immersion, along with Ukrainian language and cultural studies. Our school community is also enriched by the presence of an Elder who shares Indigenous language and culture with our students, as well as opportunities to participate in an Indigenous drumming program. In addition, all students engage in Human Ecology and Technology Education, and they may choose between Band or Art as part of their academic experience.

Beyond the classroom, students at MMS are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extracurricular and intramural activities. Educational field trips also allow students to connect with, learn from, and contribute to the local community.

At MacKenzie Middle School, our goal is to inspire every student to strive to make MAGICMastery, Accountability, Generosity, Independence, and Connection. These five values guide our work, shape our school culture, and help our students develop the skills and character needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
