We would like to congratulate Mrs. Kelly Kuzyk, who teaches Grade 7 here at MMS, on being awarded Brandon University’s “Distinguished Teacher” award for the grade 6-9 category in Manitoba. She was nominated by two students and the guidance counsellor who wrote an essay as to why she deserves this award. She will be recognized at this year’s University Convocation in May. Our school will receive a $200 award in support of student leadership activities. Thank you for being a part of Mackenzie Middle School!
